Police from Sacramento and the California State Fair say they are looking for two suspects who pulled off a heist at the California State Fair Wednesday night.
Cal Expo thinks the two people had the inside scoop on operations and probably knew the routine at the concessions office, however they would not elaborate on why officers think this.
The robbery actually happened to an outside contractor on the property who handles concessions at the fair called Ovations.
Officers at the fair say they have a lot of officers per square foot of the fairgrounds, still, Cal Expo will be going over security procedures with that company Thursday. They would not speculate on how much money the two were able to get away with.
FOX40’s reporter was able to get into the Ovations offices Thursday without being stopped or questioned.
