Do you have a check waiting for you at SMUD?
The Sacramento Municipal Utility District is giving notice that anyone who does not claim their checks before December 26 will lose them, and the money will go back to the utility.
The checks are dated October 1, 2009, and earlier. They were issued by SMUD, but for some reason or another remain uncashed.

Hi..i saw this on the news. I tried to open the list of names on the page for if smud owes me money and my phone online wouldnt open it. Can u please see if my name is on it? And if so get back to me please. Thank u for your time.

Wait a minute..I thought the controller got all monies from businesses owing money to people who cant be tracked down???? why does SMUD just get to Keep it???? I appreciate the lower rates but come on..give the money to the sttae so people can get to it another way..no way everyone is watching Fox40 or
