SACRAMENTO COUNTY-

Investigators say an 18-year-old man shot and killed his father Tuesday morning in a south Sacramento apartment.

Sacramento County Deputies are investigating the shooting near South Watt Avenue and Jackson Road. Detectives say Daniel Cartwright, 18, made the 911 a few hours after supposedly killing his father.

Cartwright was booked into Sacramento County Jail later in the day.
