2 People Being Questioned After Deadly Shooting Outside a Club

MIDTOWN–

Police are questioning two people after gunfire rang outside of the Monte Carlo Club in Midtown.

Neighbors heard the shots from the club on 15th and S Streets around 10 p.m. on Wednesday, and came out to find someone dead on the sidewalk.

“This is a situation where I parked and heard it, and somebody else was running one way and another guy falling on the ground, and he was dead,” said Cedric Adams, a witness in the case.

A Sacramento Police Officer heard the gun shots too, and got there in time to see the shooter speeding down the street in a car.

Officers set up a two-block perimeter and found the gun.

Police say the victim was a man in his thirties.

Investigators are still trying to find out what provoked the shooting.
