SACRAMENTO–
Police are investigating a deadly hit-and-run involving a bicyclist and a car near Stockton Boulevard and Fruitridge Road.
The accident happened a little before 6 p.m., with responders finding that a woman in her 50’s had been hit. She was transported, but was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Traffic on the northbound lanes of Stockton Boulevard were diverted for a time, but have since been reopened.
The suspect’s car is said to be a white, 90′s model Ford F-150 or Chevy 1500, with a toolbox in the back.
