Police have released this photo of the grow house.

SACRAMENTO–

A report of foul odor is what led police to a large marijuana grow Saturday afternoon, police say.

Police were called to home near Myotis Drive and Jackdaw Court a little after 6 p.m. thanks to someone reporting a “foul odor.”

Officers talked to occupant of the home and a search was started. Police found that the home had been converted into a marijuana grow, housing about 750 plants.

Apparently, the occupant was also stealing power as well.

The person was arrested and is now facing charges of marijuana cultivation and utility theft. The person’s identity is not being released at this time.
