Sip, swirl and search. Amazon is uncorking a new website featuring about 1,000 different wines.

Twenty five of them are from Oak Ridge Winery in Lodi. General Manager Nick Karavides is excited for their wines to be available on the world’s largest online retail site.

He said, “These brands have a a big meaning, like Amazon has a big meaning. It’s broad, it’s grand. We’re hoping to make it grander through Amazon.”

He says on average, about 50 people come to the winery every day, which is a fraction of the thousands of eyeballs on Amazon at any moment.

Even though the Oak Ridge wines are available in many places, Nick believes tapping into Amazon brings in unique customers.

In fact, the company just sold their first two bottles from Amazon’s website yesterday to a buyer in San Diego.

So what’s the best Oak Ridge wine to buy on Amazon? Nick recommends the OZV wine. It’s the wine featured at the end of the attached video.
