A man wanted in connection with a Sunday evening stabbing at a Sikh Temple was arrested Wednesday in Yuba City.
Mangal Singh Sanghera, 43, was booked into the Sutter County Jail for assault with a deadly weapon and parole violation.
Sanghera is suspected of stabbing someone during a large brawl that broke out at the temple, which involved between 50 and 100 people.
The 30-year-old victim was found with a stab wound to his upper body. Deputies also found a second person suffering from a stab wound.
Detectives think there are witnesses that have yet to come forward. If you know anything about the fight, you’re asked to call the Sutter County Sheriff’s Department at (530) 822-7307.
