SACRAMENTO -

A 100 mile per hour chase raced through Sacramento early Friday morning.

It began around 1 a.m. when a California Highway Patrol officer attempted to pull over a Honda driver for a broken tail light.

The driver took off down L Street and then onto northbound Interstate 5 in what officers say was a stolen car.

The CHP deployed spike strips on the freeway near West El Camino Avenue, stopping the car, and nabbing their suspect. No one was hurt.
