SACRAMENTO–
It looked like it was going to be a great night. Comedian Katt Williams making it rain on a crowd in Oakland, showering them with $100 bills.
Williams’ fans applauded, but the applause was short-lived. The crowd started booing because the comedian verbally taunted a fan, challenging the man to a fight behind the stage.
The show at Oakland’s Oracle Arena reportedly only lasted for 10 minutes. The 39-year-old had a serious meltdown on stage. Fans immediately took to Twitter and Facebook demanding their money back.
Williams’ team offered up this excuse for his actions, “Katt was extra loaded … he is sky-high and we can’t cover it up.”
Another member of Williams’ entourage said on stage, “don’t underestimate the potency of this Bay Area cocaine.
Katt Williams has a show at Sleep Train Arena on Nov. 23rd. Tickets are selling from $60-$200. After his ordeal in Oakland, makes you wonder if it’s worth forking over the cash.
