PENN VALLEY-
At the ripe age of 20, Branden Walden has more stories to tell than most people.
He arrived in Sacramento Tuesday for the first time in a year after he was shot four times and seriously injured in Afghanistan on July 3.
Yellow ribbons were tied around trees, and flags are waved in Penn Valley, as Walden’s community awaits him.
Walden will be home for eight days until he goes back to rehab at a military hospital in Texas.
