Three robbery suspects decided to add injury to insult by coming back to the store they just robbed and ransacking the place, assaulting the cashier in the process.
It all went down early Monday just after 3 a.m. at the 7-Eleven near Pacific Avenue and Rivara Road. Three young men entered, with one man staying at the front and the other two grabbing two 30-packs of beer.
The man at the front then began demanding money, starting a fight that had the cashier grabbing a broom to try and fend off the suspects. The cashier was able to hold off the first man, but the two men from the back were eventually able to push him down. They then fled.
All that was taken were the two cases of beer and three snickers bars, but the men apparently weren’t done.
Coming back to the store they fled only minutes later, the three suspects began grabbing and throwing stuff at the cashier. After it was all over, the store was ransacked and the cashier was hurt thanks to a hit to the left side of his face.
The suspects fled the scene down Rivara Road in a late 80’s to early 90’s Toyota or Honda sedan. Surveillance cameras caught the incident on camera, but the film has not been released.
