We are expecting a lot of rain over the coming days, several inches that could cause damage to your home.

Are you properly covered? The answer is simple: if the water rises and causes damage, you need flood insurance.

If it falls from the sky, like rain, then you need homeowners’ insurance.

If you don’t have both, then you might not be totally protected. The average flood insurance policy cost around $540 annually. That’s about $45 each month. Just three inches of water can cause more than $22,000 in damage.
