STOCKTON–

A young man was shot and killed in a Stockton drive-by around 10:15 this morning.

Stockton PD confirmed the shooting happened at E. Oak and N. American streets. The man was in critical condition and taken to a local hospital where he later died.

Police later identified the man as 22-year-old Eric Madison.

At this time there are no suspects.  The shooting is currently under investigation.  This is the 68th homicide this year in Stockton.
