Former Brain Aneurysm Patient Signs Record Deal

SACRAMENTO–

Sue Corrigan was rushed to the hospital where she had to undergo an emergency aneurysm surgery. Doctors told her if she survived there was a large chance she would never regain function of her left side. Partner Cher LaDue says that would have crushed Corrigan, who loved to play guitar.

Sue beat the odds. Two weeks after her surgery at Kaiser Sacramento, LaDue put a guitar in her hands and she played — to the shock of her doctors and nurses.

Since then, things have only gotten better for Corrigan. Not only is she recovered and still able to play in her band, she has also lost all fear of performing — something she had struggled with for years.

Just recently, The Taylor Chicks also signed a record deal with Sunny Dragon Studios in Roseville. Their first single is nearly ready to be released.
