Police: Woman Punched, Threatened with Shovel

STOCKTON–

Police report that a woman was punched then threatened with a shovel near Ash and E Marsh streets early Saturday afternoon.

Officers arrived at the scene just after noon. The woman reported that she was punched by a suspect, who then threatened her with a shovel.

Given a good description by the woman, officers spotted two suspects in the area.

One of the suspects was immediately detained, but the other bolted. During the ensuing chase, the man dropped a sawed-off rifle. He was eventually apprehended by a police dog.

Marcus Hanson, 32, now faces a charge for assault with a deadly weapon, while Raymond Glasgow, 30, faces weapons and resisting arrest charges.
