Last Minute Holiday Shoppers Not Fazed by Weather

Forty mile per hour winds Sunday put no damper on the spending habits of shoppers across the valley.

More than 100,000 holiday shoppers flocked to Arden Arcade this weekend. The mall added parking spaces at Cal Expo, provided free shuttles for the influx of expected shoppers, and extended hours until midnight.

At the Roseville Galleria, it was tough for us to even spot an empty parking space. Both malls will be open tomorrow and will close at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

The hustle and bustle of the 2012 holiday season added 700,000 jobs nationwide.
