A passenger train crashed with a car in Stanislaus County, and sheriff’s deputies are investigating the driver’s death as an apparent suicide.
The crash happened around 10 p.m. south of Hughson, along Santa Fe Avenue on Tuesday night.
There are no details on the person’s identity or other injuries at this time.

At least two fatalities.

It was Amtrak #703 from Bakersfield to Sacramento. Crash occured between Turlock and Modesto, at least one dead, Amtrak delayed 3 hours (I was waiting for the train in Stockton)
