There’s a reason some restaurants stay open on Christmas Day, it’s good business.
“Much, much, larger crowds than on a normal Tuesday,” said Capital Garage Manager Skyler Henry.
Capital Garage was packed all morning and early afternoon as some escaped their own kitchen to eat out.
“Because it’s fun to eat out on Christmas, and you don’t have to clean up your mess,” said Trish Stanionis while munching on some french toast.
Buca Di Beppo, the well-known Italian chain, was also open on Christmas Day.
“It’s good hearty wintery season food, it’s perfect for Christmas,” head chef Jeff Mitchell boasted from a very busy kitchen.
