AUBURN-

A man in Auburn is under arrest for stealing items from his family, then selling them to stores.

An officer started investigating after learning Cody Armtrout had taken a bike from a family member’s house, then sold it to an Auburn business. The investigation revealed Armtrout had stolen numerous items, and sold them to businesses.

When Armtrout was arrested, officers found he had drugs on him.

He was booked into the Placer County Jail for burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of narcotics and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
