STOCKTON-
A Modesto man was shot dead in Stockton Thursday night.
Around 11 p.m., Stockton Police responded to shots fired along Audrey Drive on the north side of the city.
The victim, 25-year-old Anthony Gutierrez was taken to the hospital, but died from his injuries.
Investigators have not released any information about possible suspects at this time.
Stockton has already had more homicides in 2012 than last year, Gutierrez’s death is number 71 for the year. There were 58 homicides in 2011.
