Mugshot: Daenon Vicent

Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested a man after he allegedly lit a Christmas tree at the Columbia House Restaurant on fire.

Fire crews were called to the restaurant around 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Deputies were also called to the scene, as witnesses reported that a man had been “causing a disturbance” and had caused the fire.

At the scene, witnesses were able to point deputies in the direction of 21-year-old Daenon Vicent Brewer.

Deputies say that Brewer looked to be drunk and high. Apparently, as deputies learned, Brewer had broken into the business and lit a Christmas tree on fire, causing an unspecified amount of damage.

Brewer was taken into custody and now faces arson, burglary, drunk in public, marijuana possession, and probation violation charges.
