ROSEVILLE–
Police are saying alcohol is suspected to be a factor in a Friday night crash that has left a 23-year-old woman with life-threatening injuries.
A Roseville police officer saw a 1997 Toyota Avalon speed past him along Foothills Boulevard near McAnally Drive that night. Right as the officer began chasing the car, the Toyota crashed into a Dodge van making a right turn out of a shopping center.
The woman was the driver of the Toyota. She is currently at a local hospital suffering from life-threatening injuries. Her passenger, a 19-year-old man, also suffered major-injuries, but they are said to be non-life threatening.
The driver of the van was said to be OK, not reporting that he was injured.
