Three people were arrested at a Tuolumne County strip club during a search for a burglary suspect Friday.
Modesto Police tipped off Tuolumne County Sheriff’s, saying that a suspect wanted in connection to a string of burglaries would possibly be at Jamestown’s Rosalinda’s Gentlemen’s Club
Sheriff’s got a search warrant and brought in a SWAT team to help, since the suspect is known to carry guns.
During the operation, tear gas was shot in to try and smoke the suspect out. Authorities believed he was hiding in one of the rooms of the strip club.
But, authorities came up empty-handed. The suspect is believed to have escaped before authorities cased the place.
The three people– 28-year-old Nicollette Schmidt, 29-year-old Tanisha Flaherty, and 37-year-old Stephen Frederick – were arrested in the sting, however. Schmidt was arrested for a gun possession charge, Flaherty for a parolee at large charge, and Frederick for a parole hold.
