Police in Roseville say a man walked into the Chase Bank on Douglas Boulevard, presented a note demanding money and walked out with an unknown amount of cash Thursday afternoon.

Investigators say after robbing the bank at about 2:30 p.m., he got into an older, silver-colored Toyota Camry sedan and drove off. Officers later found the car abandoned in a nearby neighborhood.

The Camry was reported stolen in Sacramento the previous night, police say.

The alleged robber is described as a man with a tan or “olive” complexion wearing a black beret, black-rimmed glasses and a tan pea coat over a white button-up shirt and dark pants. In surveillance photos, the man appears to have a mustache.

Police say no weapon was seen or used at the bank.
