An older couple slowly strolled through the concourse of Sleep Train Arena Thursday night, their pace agitating those who walked behind them. Decked out in black and purple coats and a season ticket lanyard hanging from their necks, they were agitated too. It was all over their faces.
I spoke to them briefly, asking them how long they had been season ticket holders, the woman cracked a slight smile that quickly turned to despair and said, “since 85.”
