A driver in a stolen car slammed into the Calvary Christian Center in Sacramento, leaving a four-foot hole in the wall early Tuesday morning.

Police found the car in an alleyway behind the intersection of Rio Linda Boulevard and Eleanor Avenue around 1:30 a.m.

The driver of the car took off on foot, but left his ID in the passenger seat.

Police didn’t find anyone home at the address from the ID, but they have a lead on the suspect.

Church maintenance worker Jesus Meza said he wasn’t surprised by the incident and said they’ve had experiences with attempted break-ins before.
