NORTH HIGHLANDS-
A high school student was tasered Thursday inside a school, as officers tried to break up a fight.
A fight started inside a classroom just after noon at Highlands High School near Don Julio Boulevard in North Highlands.
Two boys were fighting, officers used a taser to subdue one of them and stop the fight.
The Twin Rivers School District says the teen is ok.

When I was in high school, two staff members usually broke up the fights. No tasers, mace, or batons were ever used.
