Sacramento County Sheriff’s deputies say a man drove to a high school parking lot after being shot when some type of sale went wrong Friday afternoon.
The man was shot in the parking lot of Old Navy at Howe Avenue and Hurley Way at about 3:30 p.m., according to deputies.
The victim fled and ended up in the parking lot of Encina High School when he saw a school squad car. He was shot in the hip and his injuries are described as not life-threatening.
Sheriff’s investigators don’t have any suspect information at this time.
School was already out for the day by the time the man pulled into the parking lot.
