Bulldog Skateboards the Streets of Stockton

STOCKTON–

Some days can be a drag, but for Picasso, his days just roll along. Yes, this English Bulldog can skateboard.

“He’s been doing that since he was about 10 months old,” says Picasso’s owner, Bobby Munoz.

Now at the ripe old age of three, you could say that Picasso is a “hot dog.”

Munoz says training Picasso to ride was a challenge, to say the least.

“Well, I tried. I almost killed myself training him. One hour, that was it for me,” Munoz says.

Forget his four paws, on four wheels is this pooch’s happy place.

“He loves it. All day long if I allowed him to, you know?” Munoz says.

And this smooth riding doggie is good a causing a sibling rivalry.

“Bruno here gets jealous, but Bruno here is the smart one. He takes the dog taxi, which is a wagon. He rides on that,” Munoz says.

It took 9 months to train Picasso, and he gets his daily practice in along Stockton’s waterfront.

“Hopefully in another year or so, he’ll be better,” Munoz says.
