Officials say that an SUV running a red light is to blame for a crash involving a fire truck Sunday afternoon.

The crash happed near Folsom Boulevard and Bravado Drive around 5 p.m.

Apparently, the fire truck was on its way back from an assignment when a white Nissan SUV ran red light and broadsided the truck.

The fire truck had to be towed from the area.

No firefighters were injured, but a person inside the SUV had to be transported to the hospital.
