Driver Under the Influence Goes Against Traffic and Crashes

Car Crashes on FreewaySACRAMENTO -

A car slammed into a fence and a sign while heading the wrong way on the freeway early Tuesday morning in Sacramento.

CHP responded to the crash around 1 a.m. at the I-80 Bell North offramp.

To avoid going on the offramp on I-80, the driver swerved and crashed. CHP determined the driver was under the influence and arrested the person.

No one was hurt.
