MODESTO—
Police are asking for help in catching a man who robbed a Modesto Coach store early Monday evening.
The man entered the store at the Vintage Faire Mall just before 6:30 p.m. and snatched some display purses.
A woman working at the store tried to stop him, but the suspect punched her.
The man then ran from the scene. He was wearing a black Cincinnati Reds baseball hat at the time of the robbery, along with a gray sweater with a red hood.
