Sacramento County Sheriff’s detectives are searching for a man that they say robbed two pharmacies in two days.
A man in his 20s, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses, went into the Rite-Aid pharmacy Monday on Elk Grove-Florin Road and brandished a handgun, demanding drugs.
He ran off with “an undisclosed amount of pills,” investigators say.
The next day, deputies say a man matching the original thief’s description robbed a pharmacy on Professional Drive. He can he seen in surveillance video jumping over the counter and robbing the pharmacist at gunpoint.
Detectives say he demanded drugs and then ran off. His gun is described as a small, silver handgun.
