San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee is reportedly asking businesses to serve alcohol responsibly to avoid scenes like this if the 49ers win the Super Bowl

SAN FRANCISCO-

San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee is encouraging bars and restaurants serve alcohol “responsibly” during the Super Bowl, Bay Area media reports say.

Lee and his staff say cutting down on alcohol consumption may prevent the riots, like what happened after the Giants won the World Series.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports that the mayor stressed that there is no actual ban being considered.
