Man in Mask and Fatigues Arrested for Attempted Murder after Stabbing

OAKDALE—

Police say that a man dressed in camouflage fatigues and wearing a masked stabbed an Oakdale man twice early Sunday morning.

The incident happened at the Quick Stop Market along F Street around 4:22 a.m. Officers showed up after getting a call about a man dressed in fatigues and possibly armed with a knife.

Once at the scene, officers found the man, 24-year-old Oakdale Jose Carlos Ibarra, in the parking lot. He was found with a knife.

Also found at the scene was a 28-year-old Oakdale man who said Ibarra had stabbed him twice. His injuries were said to be non-life threatening, though.

Ibarra was arrested and now faces attempted murder charges.
