Police: Man Shot after Argument

WEST SACRAMENTO—

A man is suffering from life threatening injuries after a shooting near 6th and Andrew streets early Sunday evening.

Police say that the shooting stemmed from an argument between two men.

At some point during the argument, one man pulled out a gun and shot the other man in the leg.

The bullet hit an artery in 47-year-old. He was rushed to the UC Davis Medical Center once authorities showed up at the scene and was in surgery Sunday night.

Police say they have no leads on the shooting suspect at this time, with there being no witnesses at the scene.
