SACRAMENTO—

After responding to a call about shots fired, sheriff’s deputies discovered that a car had rammed into a porch.

The accident happened near Edison Avenue and Wright Street, with deputies happening upon it around 1:30 a.m.

No one was found inside the car, with police saying that they believe the driver may be the same person who fired off the reported shots.

The car is a rental, with authorities waiting to do a further investigation until the rental business opens up.
