Authorities investigating the theft.
SACRAMENTO—
Copper thieves hit a light rail station Tuesday morning.
The suspects were spotted by the Royal Oaks station off Arden Way a little after 5 a.m.
Police say that the thieves were able to get away with two pounds of wire from off the tracks.
The train is still running, so it doesn’t appear that the theft is affecting service.
