Gas Leak Closes Intersection in Rancho Cordova

The intersection of Douglass Road and Montelena Drive in Rancho Cordova is shut down because of a gas leak in the area.

No homes or businesses have been evacuated.

A spokesman with the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District says PG&E crews are working to repair an 8-inch hole, caused by a construction crew,  in one of their lines.
