A fire broke out at the Roseville auto mall early Saturday morning. A security guard reported the fire around 6:30 a.m. when he saw smoke coming from the roof of the Dodge dealership.
Investigators say an interior ceiling heater started the blaze. Fire crews broke several skylights to release smoke and a hose was brought through the building to put out the fire.
Damage was limited to the rear service bays and roof. The front show room, which was recently renovated, was untouched.
Firefighters are not sure if the blaze was caused by a design flaw in the heater, or an installation problem. The auto mall is open for business as usual Saturday.
