(KTLA)– It’s promising to be another dog-eat-dog battle to the finish, as the four-footed sides square off in Super Bowl Sunday’s annual Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet.
The network came up with the concept nine years ago as alternative programming to pro football’s championship game, and the free-form frisking by adorable pups has turned into a popular viewing option for pet lovers.
Among the competitors you’ll see licking and frolicking in Sunday’s Puppy Bowl are Agatha, a nine-week-old miniature Pinscher who promises to be a true scene-stealer.
Also taking the field is Arlo, a ten-week-old Labrador mix in for the big game from South Carolina, and Aurora, a 10-week-old Siberian Huskie.
Puppy Bowl IX kicks off at noon on Sunday, on Animal Planet.
