SACRAMENTO—

A man riding a bicycle and allegedly carrying a large sword was arrested by police Friday morning.

Daniel Garber, 29, was riding a bike near Florin Road and Tamoshanter Way around 9:39 a.m. when officers stopped him.

Officers did a probation search and soon found out that not only did Garber have some drug paraphernalia, but also a large sword in his possession.

Police soon arrested Garber, with him now facing weapons and possession of drug paraphernalia charges, along with a parole violation.
