MARYSVILLE–
“Pounds of garbage and trash are all over her apartment,” one neighbor tells FOX40.
Police say 41-year-old Marysville mother, Alyson Leonard, was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment. Video given to FOX40 by neighbors reveals trash piling as high as 3-feet.
“She has a 5-year-old daughter, it’s just unhealthy,” one neighbor says.
When police responded to a call from neighbors about potential arguing, they observed the conditions, and arrested Leonard. The 5-year-old child was taken into child protective services.
The apartment complex is off of East 22nd Street in Marysville.
Leonard was released on $25,000 bail, FOX40 tried to talk to her, but she would not comment. She is scheduled to be arraigned later this month in Yuba County Superior Court.
