Cookies laced with marijuana were brought to a West Sacramento elementary school Tuesday.
Two students brought the cookies and gave them to four others at Southport Elementary, the Washington Unified School District confirmed.
Only one of the four students showed signs of being under the influence, having red eyes and a dry mouth, district Superintendent Dayton Gilleland said.
Gilleland said disciplinary consequences are pending, and police came to the campus.
The school found out about the cookies around noon, shortly before school was let out. Wednesday was a shortened day.
