A “Blue Alert” is flashing on CHP highway signs around the state, looking for a suspect who allegedly shot three officers, killing one. The man is also a suspect in a couple’s death Sunday.
The signs give details about Christopher Jordan Dorner, a 33-year-old black man, standing 6-feet tall and weighing about 270lbs.
Dorner was last seen driving a 2005 blue or grey Nissan Titan, and has two possible license plates that he may be switching between: plate #8D83987 or #7X09131.
The truck has ski racks on the roof.
Dorner is a former LAPD officer and Navy reservist, known to be a skilled sniper.
He allegedly shot at LA officers who were chasing him Thursday night, one was wounded.
Later, he shot at Riverside Police officers who were on routine patrol, one was killed and the other was injured.
The manhunt for Dorner actually started Sunday, when he allegedly shot and killed Cal State Fullerton assistant basketball coach Monica Quan, and her fiancé.
If you see Dorner, or his truck, call 911.
