Three young men were arrested early Monday morning for allegedly tagging about six city blocks.
Police showed up near 9th and P streets just before 12:30 a.m. and started talking to three men: 19-year-old Calvin Cortez and 21-year-old’s Jeffrey Pelletier and Timothy Navarro.
On the men, officers say they found spray cans and fresh paint on their hands.
Further investigation revealed that the men were tagging buildings, trash cans and sidewalks along six city blocks.
All three were arrested and charged with felony vandalism. Cortez also faces a charge of giving false information to police, while Navarro had an outstanding warrant.
