ANTELOPE-
A man walked into the Chase Bank on Elverta Road near Walerga Road Thursday, handed the teller a note and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The man was notably wearing a tan fedora hat and had a second person with him, who is believed to have joined the ‘Bad Hatter’ for a Jan. 29 robbery.
The ‘Bad Hatter’ is described as a black man between 5-feet-7-inches and 5-feet-9-inches tall with a small build. He generally wears business clothes and a variety of hats, like fedoras.
His partner is described to be a few inches taller with an average build. Investigators say on Jan. 29, the second man told the teller he had a gun.
The ‘Bad Hatter’ is suspected of a total of four bank robberies at Chase branches: Nov. 29, 2012 and Jan. 29 on Del Paso Road in Sacramento, Jan. 10 on Douglas Road in Roseville and Feb. 7 on Elverta Road.
Both men are considered armed an dangerous.
