A woman allegedly fell asleep while driving near the Arden Way exit, resulting in an accident.

SACRAMENTO-

A woman driving through Sacramento on her way to the Napa area went off an embankment and flipped her car.

CHP officers responded around 4 a.m. to the Arden Way exit along the Cap City Freeway, where the woman and her car were flipped over.

Investigators believe she fell asleep at the wheel, ricocheted off the center divide, eventually going off the highway.

She is expected to be ok.
