Officers investigate the scene where a 9-year-old boy was hit

STOCKTON-

A nine-year-old boy was flown to a Sacramento hospital after being hit by a car while crossing the street.

The boy was reportedly not in a crosswalk along California Street in Stockton when the car hit him around 9 Wednesday morning.

The driver stopped and talked with investigators. No word on if or what charges would be brought.
